Managing concurrent state for thousands of users across multiple asynchronous bot instances while ensuring reliability, scalability, and maintaining clean architecture principles for long-term maintainability.

Solution

Leveraged Python's asyncio with aiogram and python-telegram-bot libraries for efficient non-blocking execution. Integrated PostgreSQL for robust state management and user data persistence. Implemented FSM (Finite State Machine) pattern for conversation flows. Deployed scalable worker nodes using Docker with proper logging and error handling.

Async Python with aiogram

Built all bots using Python's asyncio with aiogram framework for Telegram Bot API. Implemented non-blocking I/O operations to handle thousands of concurrent users efficiently. Used async/await patterns for database queries, API calls, and message processing. Applied proper exception handling and logging for production reliability. Maintained clean code structure with separation of handlers, keyboards, and business logic.
